The Ministry of Industry and Trade's report notes that by now the Open Mobile Platform (OMP, one of the developers of the Aurora mobile OS) with the participation of a number of Russian hardware manufacturers has implemented a program for the transfer of technical expertise in the field of adapting the Aurora OS to new hardware platforms to the manufacturers' side. The following companies are participating in this program: OOO PK Aquarius, OOO F-plus Equipment and Developments, and OOO Bayterg. It is expected that in the near future, AO NPC Elvis, AO MCST Elbrus, OOO ATOL, AO Research Institute Masshtab, and OOO Yadro Klientskie Sistemy will join it.

According to OMP CEO Pavel Eiges, within the framework of the program, relevant methodologies have been prepared, infrastructure for development has been deployed, and a release cycle and subsequent support have been established.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, two models of tablets with "Aurora" have already been released to the market. Three more new devices are expected to appear by the end of the first half of 2025.

OMP is one of two subsidiaries of PJSC Rostelecom involved in the development of Aurora. As reported, Rostelecom bought 75% of OMP and Votron LLC in 2018, and increased its stake in both companies to 99.9% in October last year.
