Zoom Pro vs. Zoom Business on Reddit

Post by Ehsanuls55 »

Let's check out this Redditor's comment highlighting the challenges and considerations for finding the most cost-effective Zoom plan:

For the past few years I have managed a single Pro account with the occasional need to run two concurrent meetings.
So every few months I pay for a second Pro account (same payment details, different email). Then I cancel the 2nd account for the umpteenth time.
Is there a better or cheaper way to start 2 concurrent meetings longer than 40 minutes?
Looking at the Full Plan Comparison I see there is a License Count option for Pro 1-9.
How would increasing the number of licenses work? Would it be the same price as a separate license?
Alternatively, I am looking into purchasing a Business Zoom license, but I only need 2 concurrent meetings every few months.

To this, another Reddit user responded:

Yes, Business has a minimum of ten licenses. I think you are doing the best thing by oman whatsapp number data adding a license to your Pro account when you need it. Since there is a one month minimum, if you are needing the 2 simultaneous meetings each month, then it sounds like you are stuck with the cost of 2 licenses, and perhaps the annual commitment savings would apply. But, if there are gaps, you can add the second license to your account as needed on a monthly basis and it will be reduced after the month.
I had a similar situation, but since we need the language interpretation feature, the 10 Business license worked best during that period. Zoom makes it very easy to add and remove licenses. If you haven't already, I suggest you keep an ACCOUNT and add/remove LICENSES from it. I made multiple email accounts and each with their own Zoom access in our business account. Then, I can purchase an additional license and assign as needed to those.
I think the example given in the Zoom article is a bit misleading because it doesn't say that John needs to purchase an additional license for Paul in order to "invite" him.

So, it is best to analyze your usage patterns and choose the solution that best suits your needs and budget.

Pro Tip: Also look at storage options when choosing your plans. Zoom’s Pro and Business plans offer 5GB of cloud storage per licensed user, while Enterprise plans provide unlimited storage.
