BEG your colleagues to be vocal
Ask your colleagues and employees to share what is on their minds. Whether it is about bad coffee, feedback to a colleague or new innovative ideas for the company. Create a culture where people feel comfortable saying anything and then do something with the information you receive.
For example, Starbucks has a leadership conference every year to share knowledge and ideas. They also have an 'hour of awesomeness' every week, where every employee can share an idea or experience for the entire company.
