ANDIt's official: Facebook has a new name, and Meta is the company that now groups together the social network Facebook, Whatsapp, Instagram and Oculus. The appointment took place this Thursday afternoon during the Facebook Connect event , a change that attempts to unify its brand as a metaverse and Mark Zuckerberg himself presented to the world his new vision of the future of the Internet, in which he will maintain his mission of "connecting the world."
Meta will host all of Zuckerberg's platforms, showcasing the company's evolving approach
"From now on, we're putting the Metaverse first , not albania business email database Facebook. That means that over time, you won't need a Facebook account to use our other services. As our new branding begins to appear on our products, I hope people around the world will recognize the Meta brand and the future we represent , " Zuckerberg said in a letter to his company's employees.
For now, Facebook and all of Zuckerberg's other apps and social networks will remain unchanged, but Meta will be featured as the company's title, encompassing a broader name that it hopes will house its evolving approach to the next generation of digital connection.
