On September 20th I will be giving a training session on “Branding and Events” at the Casa Zayas Networking in Granada.
The event is organized by the Granada Chamber of Commerce , the Casa Zayas Business Association , the Granada International School of Protocol and the Official College of Architects of Granada .
The venue for the session is literally incredible. It is a 17th century palace-house, where around 20 companies enjoy its facilities.
Regarding the session, I will try to show the importance of Branding in companies, and how Events are an excellent way for brands to obtain a greater and better reputation.
Events have changed. They are now more global, they are “acts” where there must be creativity, differentiation, impact … In addition, with the arrival of social networks, the life of these events has been extended, since they do not “die” when they are closed.
Branding is the most real extension of a company’s “mission/vision”…

Branding tries (and succeeds) in linking the company with its public, with its client. It sells experiences, not just the product. Companies need to become more human, and everything starts from within. Strategies , more than ever, have to involve each of the people who make up the company. The client no longer wants to talk to companies, they want to talk to people, and the messages we want to convey have to be direct, thoughtful and, what is said, more human.
