Tip # 1: Start with what you like.
Jeff Bosch, Founder and Director of Bean Werks Coffee & Tea, starts a sale by measuring what his customers like.

For 25 years, the company has served as a wholesale and distribution facility for small batch craft roast coffee and tea with a collection of over 68 varieties of roasts available. At the cafe, 753 Haywood Road, customers can order a drink and purchase bags of fresh roasts for home use.

Selecting a roast can be overwhelming, but Bosch puts guests on the phone number library right track by asking a few preliminary questions.

Bean Werks Coffee and Tea is located in West Asheville.
“Often I ask them, ‘What do you like about a candy bar? ”Bosch said. “If you like chocolate and nuts, you might end up liking coffees like this. If you like fruit bars, you’ll probably like something a little more lemony. It’s how it arrives on your palate that determines how you like it.

If one prefers fruity flowers, he directs them towards African roasts. If it favors nutty and chocolate flavors, it suggests a Colombian or Central American roast, he said.

“In a cup of coffee, you are looking for body, aroma, flavor and acidity,” Bosch said. “Some of these different regions have more of it than others and you need to determine if you like the aftertaste in a cup or a smooth, crunchy finish, if you like chocolate, nuts, citrus notes, from stone fruits to berries to strawberries … There are so many different notes you can pick up in a cup of coffee.
