Time as a limiting factor

Post by Bappy10 »

With Social Business Engineering you take a step towards a real social business : start by appointing Social Business Champions within your company . In this article I will teach you how to use social media to generate new business, by sharing my experiences within Deloitte.

B2C vs B2B
At the end of August I wrote for the first time about Social Business Engineering . At that time I list to data talked about the difference between B2C and B2B organizations. Deloitte, the organization I work for as a social media consultant, is a B2B service provider. Even more than at a B2C company, our employees are our ambassadors. Also online. The colleagues who consciously and successfully deal with this, we call Social Business Champions .

We help Social Business Champions to contribute to their objectives with the help of social media. Objectives that always lead back to getting more income, reducing costs and increasing customer satisfaction.
One of the things we teach our colleagues is to make choices. Time is also the limiting factor for using social media as a business tool. It is therefore about using available time as usefully as possible.

People, tools, content

People are central. These are the Social Business Champions, but also their (potential) customers and colleagues. To reach these people online, the Champions can use different tools. For one, this is Twitter combined with a blog, the other reaches his target group better via LinkedIn. Regardless of the medium, valuable content is always the starting point for a conversation . The three pillars of people, resources and content are essential in becoming a social business and time is the limiting factor.
