An indebted society faces a series of challenges that can have significant impacts on various aspects of economic, social and political life. In order to solve some of these problems, the federal government created “Desenrola Brasil”, a social program for debt renegotiation .
The initiative is a partnership between the Ministry of Finance, the Brazilian Federation of Banks (Febraban) and its associated banks. Created by the federal government, the Desenrola Brasil program aims to reintroduce individuals with credit restrictions into the economy, enabling better conditions for paying their debts.
In this sense, the program is expected to create special kuwait mobile database conditions and facilitate the renegotiation process for approximately 70 million people. This is another of the issues seen as a priority on the government's economic agenda , such as the Fiscal Framework and Tax Reform.
Who is eligible to participate in Desenrola Brasil?
The program covers individuals and should include two benefit bands . Band 1 corresponds to people who earn up to two minimum wages or who are registered in the Single Registry for Social Programs of the Federal Government, CadÚnico.
For this first group, Desenrola Brasil offers the possibility of the Operations Guarantee Fund (FGO) renegotiating bank and non-bank debts of negative values that do not exceed R$5,000.
In this case, debts with real guarantees, relating to rural credit, real estate financing, operations with funding or third-party risk, in addition to other operations defined by the Ministry of Finance, cannot be financed.
Band 2 is intended for individuals with a monthly income of up to R$20,000 and who have debts with banks registered in defaulters' registers until December 2022.
