The problem of energy from renewable sources

Post by zakiyatasnim »

The company, called Extra Space Storage (ESS), uses big data analytics to identify underperformance and identify inefficiencies without anyone on site. The company's Virtual Irradiance (VI) solar energy management software works by collecting data on the intensity of sunlight at ground level to signal when the panels are not operating at the expected rate and send an alert when repairs or maintenance are needed.

This type of analysis can also be used to study entire communities and suggest where solar panels can be most effective depending on the exposure to the sun and weather conditions. For example, South Australia, in cooperation with Tesla, built the world's largest virtual power station, connecting 50,000 Tesla batteries with panels, which made it possible to reduce the costs associated with the stabilization of the energy system by $28.9 million. This is a collaboration that can ultimately provide the entire state.

The future of big data and solar energy
The better we can analyze energy supply and demand patterns, the easier turkey number data it is to know the community's needs for backup energy. When energy needs are constantly met by renewable sources, companies can reduce their reliability reserves, which usually consist of expensive and environmentally harmful fossil fuels. This means cheaper and more efficient electricity for both companies and consumers.

As energy forecasting becomes more accurate, it is possible that the associated peak energy costs – and off-peak savings – will be passed on to consumers to help control supply and demand. Smart homes can be targeted to turn off power when they are not in use, incentives can be offered not to connect to the power grid for certain periods of time, and devices such as air conditioners and water heaters can be controlled or turned off remotely.

Solar energy is already a good proposition for wallets, but over the next decade we can expect these kinds of advances to make investing in solar energy even more attractive. All these factors should tempt investors who do not want to invest in this sector to see its viability and long-term prospects. Companies around the world have realized the importance of sustainable energy sources, and since 2014, investments in infrastructure and equipment have been increasing annually by 20%. And last year, renewable energy sources accounted for 70% of global investments in new projects in the field of electricity production.
