The “About Us” page contains information about the person or company and what it does. Usually, this is a short history of the company, its goals, mission, and values. Sometimes, positive customer reviews are also posted here, or a detailed success story is published, as well as articles about the company in the media, and links to corporate profiles on social networks.
A typical problem is that the “About the Company” page is overloaded with content. The result is a long text that is boring to read. on a special page “Contacts” or “Contact us” (near the form or in a separate block).
Both solutions can be very effective, but much depends on the unique design of the site.
Clients and designers don't think about it, but in many cases it is the presence of real contacts - phone numbers, feedback forms, addresses - that makes a company legitimate and inspires confidence in it in consumers. When developing your unique design, remember that a potential client, not finding ways to contact the company, will hesitate to place an order (or simply will not be able to do so).
Contacts should definitely be added to static “headers” and “footers” of websites. The physical address (if any) should preferably be accompanied by a map or directions. The feedback form should be easily accessible so that the user does not have to open the mail program and manually enter your e-mail in the address field.
Search the web resource
Each of us has tried more than once to find some information on websites that was definitely there, but it was unknown on which page. It was impossible to find the necessary content by simply going through the sections in the menu, and a search on the website was required.
The search bar has become one of the key elements of a unique modern website design from a usability point of view. Search should be accessible and convenient, but unobtrusive.
If you want to indicate the search with an icon, choose a familiar magnifying glass. A unique, super-creative solution is not needed here, because the site visitors will be looking for a magnifying glass.
The search bar is usually placed at the top of the interface, most often on the right. This is the usual place for this element.
