In 2018, at the first meeting of the Council for the Development of the Digital Economy under the Federation Council, then Chairman of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian belarus whatsapp resource Federation and Chairman of the Council of the Center for Strategic Research Alexey Kudrin pointed out that there are 340 state information systems in Russia, while the data in many GIS do not match each other in formats and relevance. By the beginning of 2023, there were almost 4,000 GIS in Russia: 747 federal and more than 3,000 regional.
On January 19, 2023, at a briefing on the main results of the national goal "Digital Transformation" of the national program "Digital Economy" in 2022, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Chernyshenko said that 80% of the functionality of all GIS is the same, so their transfer to "GosTech" will allow for the effective reuse of various services, as well as optimize the use of data centers and cloud space by government agencies.
Kirill Verevochkin noted that the FGIS LK, like other state information systems, is being developed in accordance with the requirements and could potentially be technically integrated into the GosTech platform, but it is unclear whether this will happen from January 1, 2025.
Sergey Dallada, head of the department for the development and advancement of information systems of the Ministry of Information Development and Communications of the Perm Territory, reported that the FGIS LK is not being developed on the GosTekha platform, but from 2024 it could potentially move to this platform.
FGIS LC was developed separately from the GosTech platform
