How can platforms like Lazada and Shopee have sellers who sell zoo entrance tickets at cheaper prices than the official Zoo Negara website? Before I write at any further length, let me make a disclaimer first. I don't actually have a right answer. However, after observing and examining the business concept being run, I can imagine several possibilities as to why something like this could happen. There are several reasons why sellers on this marketplace platform are able to offer lower prices.
Among them (1) The concept is the same as buying at wholesale prices, then reselling bc data america at retail. (2) They take less commission than they should These agents can only sell at the same price as the zoo offers for ticket sales. Let's assume that if they sell at the same price, the agent will get a profit percentage of 30%. But because this agent wants to sell more tickets, he sells them at a lower price.
When he sells at this lower price, the effect is that the percentage of commission he will receive is lower. For example, he could earn a commission of 30% but because he chose to sell at a lower price, the remaining commission is only 15%. Therefore, the agent needs to sell more tickets to cover the reduction in the commission percentage he should have earned earlier. But.. isn't it a loss if the agent takes a low percentage of profit? Most likely, the answer is no loss.
They buy tickets in large quantities
