"Classical automated process control systems

Experts from several industries spoke about new developments and plans for Russia's technological future at the BRICS digital forum in Innopolis. They noted that the Russian economy should focus on domestic developments and partnerships with the BRICS countries.

(APCS) are 40-year-old solutions. We austria whatsapp number databa se rushed to replace the companies that left, but we are trying to reproduce what they have been doing for years. This is replicating the technological lag. But to move forward, you need to run twice as fast. You need not reproduce trends, but lay down what is the best practice, even one step ahead of global developments. Having looked at what the world's leading companies are doing, we came to the conclusion that the management of technological infrastructure objects will be based on platform solutions. This is the emergence of IT in the industrial automation sector and on open industrial protocols and standards. This does not mean that the platform will be open and leaky. It will be reliably protected, but the openness of the protocols will allow even the smallest vendor with niche solutions to become a participant in the global history of creating production control systems," said Sergey Sedov, Head of the Automation and Metrology Department at Gazprom Neft.

Deputy General Director of Bureau 1440 LLC Dmitry Agafonov spoke about communication networks: "It is not possible to organize a ground-based communication infrastructure everywhere. We mainly use cables that are buried somewhere deep, perhaps at the bottom of the ocean. And it then delivers the signal through base mobile stations or a direct connection. About 30% of Russia's territory is covered by ground-based communication networks. All other territories are outside the perimeter of this digitalization. There are enterprises there that live on thin satellite channels (1-2 Mbit/s). Our solution allows for higher speed, and the channel delay is significantly lower. That is, now fixed ground-based communication can be implemented in orbit."
