Is your organization truly data driven?

Post by monira444 »

When we talk about digital transformation, there is always a huge buzz around some words and technologies, which many quickly say they have adopted and are part of their strategies, but few organizations actually experience the complete and in-depth use of these technologies.

When asked, most organizations claim to be data-driven or to use artificial intelligence in their operations, which generally ends up using different system dashboards for each area and customer service chatbots, without actually using the full potential that data integration can generate for your business.

For a company to be truly data driven, all data must communicate with each other, crossing information from all areas of the company to provide valuable insights that we humans would not be able to capture, or that at least would take us a long time to perceive, still leaving out a lot of information.

Another point is to ensure that all people, or a ghana whatsapp data large part, of the organization actually have access to this data, understanding the language presented and with a mindset that allows them to create, innovate and seek information that adds value to the business.

How many people on your team have access to data in its purest form, that is, not in dashboards prepared by an intelligence professional in the field? How many people can perceive that there is more behind the data than just the most superficial information and look for behaviors and patterns that can be affected by a variety of external factors?

At an event with Diego Barreto, CFO and VP of Strategy at iFood, he reported that in order to work at his company, everyone needs to be qualified in SQL. This is part of the onboarding process, after all, it is not possible to work in a place without understanding the common language among everyone. This allows the company to truly be data-oriented and allows everyone to investigate and create their own analyses, bringing a richer debate to the table and providing more strategic and assertive views of the business, leaving behind repetitive tasks that could rely on the use of new technologies and truly adding value to the organization.

And you, have you really changed your mindset to think about models for how to innovate your career and your organization, focusing on a true digital transformation or are you still trying to understand this new world that is emerging? How are you preparing for the future of work and preparing your team for a new model that is increasingly no longer exclusive to innovative companies in Silicon Valley and becoming a reality through new entrants or the transformation of traditional companies?
