ANDYouTube has announced two new AI-powered features that will allow users to view AI-generated comment summaries by topic , and access a chatbot that will answer questions and make recommendations about the videos being watched. This is an experiment that is still in beta and available only to Premium users who wish to participate by visiting youtube.com/new . “If you try these experiments, let us know what you think by sending us your comments , ” the company asks on its official website.

How AI will revolutionize the way we create content on YouTube
Comment summaries by topic
YouTube’s first feature is based on a tool capable of organizing large sections of comments into easily digestible topics . According to the platform, the goal is to help users and content creators “ easily understand and participate in comment conversations.”

To access this section, simply open the comments section and canada number data click on the “Topics” option. You can then select the topic you want and a complete list of comments related to it will appear. At the moment, the tool works “on a small number of English-language videos” with large comment sections.

In its statement, YouTube notes that these comment summaries can be used by content creators to more easily and quickly participate in discussions with their followers or even to get ideas for new content based on what the audience is discussing.

To prevent summaries from getting out of hand, the platform clarifies that topics are extracted only from published comments, ignoring comments under review, as well as blocked words and users. In addition, the creator can delete problematic topics and comments.

To showcase the new feature, YouTube used a video from popular blogger Mr. Beast. The new tool generated a variety of comment topics, including “People love Brian the Bird,” “Lazarbeam should be in more videos,” “No Submarine,” and “More 7-day challenges.”
