Welcome Generation Z! New online communities

Post by pappu857 »

Over the last few years, there has been so much talk about the millennial generation and how they have come to change the way we do marketing that I personally find it hard to imagine a new generation! But yes, the world is moving forward, the years are passing by and now we are seeing human beings who think and live a little differently than those of us who are a few years older.

Generation Z, who are about to leave school and enter the workforce, currently represent 26% of the world's population and are now coming to change the rules just as all the generations before them have done.

The exact date is not yet known, but many specialists on the subject claim that this generation was born between 1995 and 2015, and many areas of human capital, organizations and academic centers are beginning to study their new habits and attitudes, due to the impact they will generate in the coming years.

What are these types of online communities like and what governs them?
Online all the time. Millward Brown conducted online surveys worldwide involving thousands of children from over 70 cities in 15 countries across Europe, Asia, the US and South America, showing that 50% of all teenagers worldwide between 8 and 12 years old are online every day.
Everything is on the Internet! They are technology dependent, they find and learn everything on the Internet and tutorials are the basis of their knowledge.
Smartphone, the extension of the arm . Smartphones have existed since birth and their entire life depends on them…
Social Media Addicts . You will have lots of friends you will never morocco phone number meet, online “friends” out there in cyberspace, many of whom may live in the same neighborhood, in another state, or on another continent, and it really doesn’t matter as long as your interests are the same.
Visuals . This is the most visual generation of all to date, they are not very interested in reading, their communication is with images and codes and they have distorted the language a bit to express themselves among themselves. NOTE, this insight is important for those of us who are dedicated to digital marketing , since current content marketing strategies must be adapted .
Incognito and private . They are reserved and prefer privacy, which is why they have turned to social networks like Snapchat or Whisper , as they are more aware of the risks involved in sharing all your information on the Internet.
Collective consciousness. Unlike millennials, they choose what they will study thinking about how much they will earn and not only thinking about what makes them happy. They believe in teamwork and want to leave a legacy.
Multitasking . Yes, this concept has existed since the last generation, but the known mix was computer-cell phone and generation Z, enhances the term by controlling five screens at once!
There are no borders . They don't believe in geographical boundaries or time limits, but they don't distinguish between the real world and the online world.
Just 8 seconds . Gen Z has an average attention span of less than 8 seconds on an app . If they're interested, they might stay longer, but if you don't capture their attention, they'll move on to their other screens.
