ANDAt its CSS Summit 2024 event, Google unveiled a series of changes affecting its CSS (price comparison services) and its SERPs , which are intended to comply with the DMA (Digital Markets Act) that came into force on March 6.
As Google Product Manager Sarah Chan said during the presentation: “ We have made changes to offer a more visual and attractive experience for users while complying with the laws of digital markets .” Google bulgaria number data assures that it wants to ensure compliance with the regulations while maintaining the best possible service in relation to the comparison of shopping services and merchants.
Specifically, Google's new releases fall into three main categories :
CSS to drive traffic to PDS (Product Detail Pages) through organic placements and product listing ads. This is a more relaxed version of the previous policy, which required the ability to transact on the first click outside of Google for shopping apps.
Creation of new specific purchase filters that will appear as tabs: on the one hand the Product Filter , which will open a view of commercial offers and price comparison, and on the other the Product Sites Filter , which opens a view dedicated to price comparison offers.
Visual changes to the search experience.
