Orphaned Content in the Board Game Blog Even though my board game blog is not even 3 years old, I have already taken a look at what orphaned content there is. On the one hand, I came across articles that are not linked internally by any other article or by any page. I will be working on this in the coming weeks and adding more internal links. On the other hand, I have identified content that receives almost no views and is also outdated or obsolete in terms of content.
These include, for example: The former static homepage that I used at the beginning macedonia whatsapp is still there as a subpage. In terms of content, it is actually superfluous and hardly visited. The old Kickstarter page, where I had manually integrated the Kickstarter widgets, is also outdated. For data protection reasons, I no longer integrate widgets from Kickstarter, but have programmed my own solution on another page. Right at the beginning of the blog, I created a wish list page of board games I wanted to buy.
This hasn't been updated for a long time. There are a number of old news articles that were well received when they were published, but are now outdated and no longer receive any views. So, in addition to timeless content, such as board game reviews, there is also some orphaned content that I will either update (or better link) or delete. To do this, I will create an Excel spreadsheet, rate the content and compare the page views.
