Play with the text formatting
It’s also very easy to change the text formatting. For example, you could choose to make your name and title bigger or give your company name a different color. You can do this using standard Gmail text formatting at the bottom of your email screen. Watch the video for more instructions.
Add a logo, image or photo
Suppose you want to insert a picture as a logo. Of course, you can do that too. First, place your mouse where you want to list to data insert your picture. Then click on the camera icon at the bottom of your Gmail screen. You now have the option to select an existing online photo or upload a file from your computer. Once you have selected the right image, it will automatically appear in your email. Then you have different size options, choose the size that best suits your signature.
Save signature
Once you’re happy with your signature, you can save it as a default signature. To do this, click the arrow at the bottom right of your Gmail screen, then click Canned Responses. Then select New Canned Response.
The final step is to name your signature. And that’s it: you’ve got a new signature!
Add Gmail signature to an email
If you want to add a signature to your email, click the arrow at the bottom of your Gmail screen again, click canned responses, and select your signature.
Working with different Gmail signatures
Like many professionals, I work with different signatures: from Frankwatching, Manchu Media and a personal signature. It is very easy to set up and use different signatures from the same email account in Gmail.
First create all the different signatures. Every time you save a signature, it will automatically be added to your 'standard responses'. For example, if you send an email to a freelance client, you select your freelance signature, or if you send an email to your manager, you use your business signature.
Super simple, and not only is it very professional, you make it very easy for your customers and business partners to contact you.
