So that was my second step.

Post by jrineakter »

I know it's a... how to say. I'm not trying to have a goal, it's not a project as we can usually define it, it's something spiritual, you shouldn't force anything. You can't force faith. But I really think that I can gradually move towards something that will suit me and I've already evolved a lot because, as I told you, I was, let's say for 30 years, an atheist, then I became agnostic.

So the difference, basically, or at least that's what I understood, is that the atheist says: "No, there is no religion, I'm a materialist, we can explain everything by the Big Bang and Darwin, basically, and we are here by chance." That's the atheists. An agnostic will say: "Well, the subject is too complicated and we can't have proof, so I can't decide, I don't know. Maybe there is a god, maybe there isn't."

I was an atheist, then an agnostic. And today, I would consider myself a deist, that is to say a deist is someone who recognizes or who thinks deep down that there is a god. So that's where I am. Today, I would consider myself a deist, that is to say for me, there is indeed a god.

I read a great book on the subject recently called God, Science, the Evidence of… So “the evidence” in two words, 'end of article “the”, further “evidence”, not “the test”… the evidence new zealand whatsapp number data of the type which ultimately proves that God exists. So it’s Bolloré and… I forgot the name of the second author. A fascinating book in which they take… they try to study religion in fact and in particular Christianity in their case and science. So fascinating, great. And this book really helped me to go from being an agnostic to a deist. Today, I clearly believe that there is a god and that we didn’t get there by chance.

But again, that doesn't mean I don't respect agnostics or atheists. I still have very... even on this subject... very open discussions with my mother, who remains an atheist and who, I don't know, doesn't want to change and I don't have to change her. She thinks what she wants obviously. And so I find that fascinating.

I risk evolving. I am still, you can feel it, in a period of reflection, of research, so my current status is fragile. Still, this is the path I am moving towards. And I will take great pleasure in talking about it again later to share with you my progress and my developments on the subject.

That's it for today. So once again, I hope you enjoyed this somewhat personal or very personal episode, that it interested you. My idea is really to help you improve your French but also to think. That's it in fact. I want these episodes to help you think and also help you develop as a human being in parallel of course with your improvement of French. So thank you very much for following me.
