Satisfied customers write reviews more often than dissatisfied ones
77% of Germans have written an online user review at least once. Of these, 53% have written a few customer reviews, 15% have written one, and 9% of participants say they write reviews frequently. We wanted to know why buyers write reviews.
43% of respondents say they wrote a user review to help other users. 32% write an online review to show their satisfaction, whereas only 12% want to demonstrate their dissatisfaction. Very satisfied or very dissatisfied users are known to write online reviews. If everything went "as expected", customers rarely leave a review. In Germany, product satisfaction is the predominant reason for writing a product review. However, Germans mostly want to help other users choose a product. The most common "other" reason given was that they were paid a bonus for writing the online review.
