"Maybe" candidates for using the Disavow tool

Post by kexej28769@nongnue »

If the answer to these questions is yes, it is usually a good candidate for a disapproved file.

Then there's a whole set of links in a bucket that I call the "maybe" file. You might want to deny it. I often do, but it's not necessary.

1. Malware
So a lot of them will be malware. You click on a link and belgium number data gives you a red browser warning that the site contains spam, or your computer freezes these toxic links.

If I were Google, I probably wouldn't want to see those kinds of links linking to a site. I don't like them linking to me. I'd probably reject them.

2. Hidden sites
These are sites that show one set of results to Google when you click on a link, but a different set of results to the user. The way you find this is that when you're searching for your links, it's usually a good idea to look at them using the Googlebot user agent.

If you use Chrome, you can get a browser extension . We'll link to some of them in the post below. But look at everything and see everything through Google's eyes using the Googlebot user agent and you can spot these shady pages. They're like a red flag in terms of link quality.
