“If an organization can deliver a great product experience, it increases loyalty, reduces churn, and has a measurable impact on business growth,” explains Scholz. The CPO, he says, must oversee this shift to product-led growth. To do this, they must manage and integrate acquisition, expansion, conversion, and retention of users through the product. This requires the buy-in of a broad range of stakeholders across the business and investment in the right product management tools to support this shift.

“Product-led growth models are the future for many businesses, and product management led by the CPO will be key to how successfully they transition to this model,” says Scholz.

The CPO role also requires close and hong kong mobile database collaboration with other members of the leadership team, such as the chief marketing officer (CMO) and chief customer officer (CCO). In some organizations, the CMO may take on product-related responsibilities that the CPO oversees in other companies.

“In 2022, I expect to see significant leadership changes at companies as digital products and the data they provide explode. This growth will see a new, product-focused CMO emerge, working closely with the emerging CCO and CPO to manage the customer experience and its impact on the bottom line. In some cases, we may even see some of these roles combined,” says Daniel Bailey, vice president of EMEA at Amplitude. He says the companies that will benefit will be those that align their marketing and customer success teams with their product team to create a common set of goals and align the company’s positioning and product strategy.
