Upload the site to the Internet

Post by subornaakter20 »

Now all that remains is to upload the archive with the site to the created hosting. Choose one of the two available methods.

A simpler way

No extra programs are required. Go to the esinc email list admin panel, where you need to select "File manager". Select the necessary site and go inside. In the "public_html" folder, delete the already unnecessary standard file index.php.

In the top menu, select "Download files". Click "Browse..." and select the created archive on your computer. Check the box next to this archive and click "Download". Once it is complete, you can close the window.

Right-click on the archive, select “Unpack archive” from the drop-down list and click “OK” in the window that appears.

Done. The archive has been unpacked as it should be - all files are located in the root folder. As mentioned above, it is important to pack the files correctly from the very beginning. If you archive only a folder, then only it will be unpacked, which is not very convenient.

All you have to do is open the domain and start checking.

A more complicated method

In this case, you need an FTP client. For example, the file management program FileZilla. With its help, you will get to the server and download the required files.

After installing the program, select "Site Manager" at the top left and create a new site. On the right, you will need to enter the host, username, and password (all of this should come to your email after registration). By clicking "Connect", you will get to the root of your hosting. Go inside the domain. Open the "public_html" folder.

On the left side, find your site to copy the data to the right by selecting all the files.

The task is completed! This method is more complicated because of the use of a third-party program. But it is justified if you regularly work on the site. Not only on the server, but also on your PC will be stored an up-to-date copy of the site.
