Prices of goods and services in marketing, as well as in all areas of scientific activity, are systematized by many features. Let us consider in more detail what types of prices there are in marketing.
Classification of prices according to formation conditions - depending on the level of state regulation:
free — not controlled by the state, independent of direct government influence. Their formation is influenced exclusively by market mechanisms. They reflect the state of equilibrium between supply and demand. Government agencies can only have an indirect impact on free prices, for example, by introducing bans on dumping and monopolies;

retail (prices for household chemicals in a hypermarket, etc.) - used for selling both small lots and individual goods to end customers;
prices for construction products, which include:
estimate - the maximum amount of expenses for the construction of a typical object;
list price - the average price of a unit of construction product (one square meter of living space, etc.);
contract price - an agreement on cost concluded between the contractor and the customer of the construction project;
Tariffs are the cost of works and services that represent a specific type of goods, which are characterized by the absence of a certain material form. The main types of tariffs are divided into the following two categories:
transport - payment for the transportation of passengers and cargo, including profit, VAT and carrier expenses;
for services provided to the population - the cost of housing and communal services (water supply, heating, garbage removal, etc.), communications, consumer services (hairdressers, tailor shops, etc.);
foreign trade - established for the import of foreign goods and the export of domestic products.
