Enable two-factor authentication

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of protection to your account. Every time you log in on a new device, you’ll be required to enter a code sent via SMS or generated in an authentication app. This makes it harder for unauthorized access, even if your password is discovered.
How to activate:
Go to Settings in your profile.
Go to the Security tab .
Select Two-factor authentication and follow the instructions.
Monitor connected devices
Instagram allows you to check the devices that are currently logged into your account. To do this:
Go to Security Settings .
Click Login Activity .
Review the listed devices and terminate suspicious sessions.
Be careful with suspicious links
A common practice among hackers is phishing, which involves sending fake cameroon phone number library messages to trick users and steal their credentials. To avoid falling for scams:
Never click on links sent by unknown people.
Verify the authenticity of messages that request personal information.
Create strong passwords
