cussed the problems and prospects for the development of Russian electronics at the forum "Electronics of Russia".
"Electronics in Russia is becoming one of the most important factors in the hyper-competition of countries for future development. In 2024, we were able to exceed 50% of the share in domestic government procurement of Russian electronics. It is obvious that the goals we declared two years ago are no longer hong kong telegram enough. Electronics is a key competitive advantage of any state in the war for the future, so technological sovereignty alone is no longer enough for us. We must talk about technological leadership. First, we need to look towards Russian technological solutions. This will give stability to business. Second, we need to increase the speed of processing and transferring information. Here we need to look for non-trivial solutions," said Vasily Shpak, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
State Corporation Yulia Tsvetkova called the shortage of personnel one of the main problems in the electronics industry: "Radio electronics for us is one of the key components of the principles of the corporation's strategy, our production. In order to realize all the planned goals, we need to train personnel. We conducted a survey among more than 230 organizations in 47 regions of the country regarding the need for specialists and found out that by 2026, Rostec State Corporation organizations need to hire a total of 4,690 IT specialists. But we are sure that this number is underestimated, and the real need will be even higher."
Deputy Director of the Machine Tool and Heavy Engineering Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Alexander Lvov spoke about the development of domestic equipment: "In terms of developing technological sovereignty, more than 100 types of equipment and materials for electronics are being developed with samples to be released in 2025-2026. The market will be saturated with Russian solutions. All this is being implemented within the framework of the electronic engineering development program until 2030. The program is already in an active stage in all areas."
Alexander Lvov also reminded about the measures to support the robotics sector: "A new project for the development of robotics will be launched in 2025. The introduction of robots is one of the main trends in the field of electronics worldwide. Unfortunately, Russia cannot yet be called a highly robotic country, but the national project of technological leadership is designed in such a way that we will be able to support the development of robotics throughout the entire life cycle of the product, from development to implementation. Several mechanisms will be launched in 2025 to stimulate demand for robotics in production. If a company buys a Russian robot, it will be provided with subsidies in the amount of 50% of its cost."
"The industry has made confident steps forward in 2024. This is due to systemic support from the state. Many projects have been launched with subsidiary support. In many countries, there is an ecosystem that ensures the effective growth of enterprises, the development of innovative types of products, the exchange of technological solutions and mutual support. We are also building a similar ecosystem. A program for materials and special chemicals is already in effect, a program for components has been formed. But there is still a lot of work to do," summed up Alexey Alexeyev, President of the Electronic Engineering Association.
