The Mobile World Congress in Barcelona is not only bringing new models and technologies to visitors, it is also being a focus for launching new tariff proposals, offers and promotions from telephone companies.

Vodafone Spain has just announced its new tariff plans, in which they will offer a greater volume of mobile data and a greater number of products, for a “slight” price increase.

The volume of data/month suffers the following upward changes:

The “fee” that Vodafone subscribers will have to pay will be around €2 for mobile plans, and between €3 and €6 for convergent plans. This seems like a reasonable increase considering that it is as if we were tripling the amount of data in each plan.

According to company sources, these changes will take effect in two weeks, and the new tariff models will be in effect from April 28, both for current users and for new customers.

But the new feature launched list of telegram users in italy by Vodafone, which will surely be of most interest to you, is Chat Zero . It consists of a new service in which the data consumption of messaging applications such as Whatsapp, Telegram, Line, We Chat, BlackBerry IM or Message+ will not deduct data from the data plan of the customer of this operator. This service has been in the United States for years, and it finally arrives in Spain to the unanimous applause of its customers.

The CEO of Vodafone Spain argues that these changes are in line with the new usage profiles of customers, who are requesting rates in which data is more important than calls, messages, etc.

Vodafone claims that average data usage per customer has increased by 50% in 2016, due in large part to the proliferation of video, changes in social networks and their “stories” or “live” features, etc.

What do you think of these changes? Without a doubt, users will surely be the biggest beneficiaries, as other operators will soon “match” this important change that means that messaging applications do not consume data.
