a strategic tool for acquiring new Talents? How to effectively use your company's participation in Talent Days job fairs ?
Get ready for inspiring and practical tips from the recruitment industry and… an avalanche of interest from potential candidates!
TALENT DAYS: Hey girls! As Armatis, you already have a lot of experience presenting your company's development offer at Talent Days. Starting from the beginning - why is participation in such events so important to you and what benefits does it bring to the employer?
ARMATIS: First of all, in these times, presence at fairs is not only an addition to our standard promotional and employer branding activities, but almost an obligation - especially for companies that are larger employers on the labor market. It is an exceptionally effective element of building the employer's brand externally, especially among young candidates. In our company, in 99% of cases we recruit remotely, so it is a unique opportunity for us to "go out" to people and directly meet these young people who are entering the labor market. An invaluable benefit of participating in job fairs is the recruitment results. We acquired over 100 potential candidates within a few hours, and through our standard activities we would probably achieve such a result after at least a few days of work.
TALENT DAYS: There is no doubt that nothing can replace direct contact with people, thanks to which establishing relationships is much more effective. Is this the goal you set for yourself when preparing to participate in the fair – to obtain a certain number of potential candidates?
ARMATIS: We don't have such clearly defined and very measurable goals. We think about it rather generally - we want to build and strengthen our image as an employer. Our company operates in six locations throughout Poland and we have been on the market for quite a long time, but despite this we are not that recognizable. So we focus on emphasizing our visibility. For us, numbers do not matter, we focus mainly on quality. We always try to choose the best candidates, which is easier when we can draw from such a large pool of applications.
TALENT DAYS: So how do you build and strengthen your brand image? Do you focus on any specific aspects of your internal or external activities in your communication?
ARMATIS: We always have a positive attitude towards candidates and the most important thing is to build a good relationship with them and convey the values of our company. We emphasize that we are not a typical corporation with a strict dress code - we focus on a nice, relaxed atmosphere at work. What can we offer candidates? Development in many positions with foreign languages. If someone, for example, studies German philology and wants to develop further in this direction, but their language level is not so advanced, they can work with a German-speaking client with us - thanks to which their language level increases very quickly. This also distinguishes us from other companies, because we do not require very advanced skills. Both in terms of knowledge of languages or other issues, because there is no such need for us. We conduct many trainings already during work and within our structures.
TALENT DAYS: How exactly do you present your offer during the event to effectively attract candidates?
