Trends of the early 2000s for retailers (according to the RAM Research Center):
Expansion into new international markets , primarily in Central and Eastern Europe, Asia, Latin and North America.
Preferences for store formats . The decline in the role of the family leads to an increase in the number of single people, families without children and single mothers, which in turn encourages retailers to:
use of packaging in various formats;
using a grocery delivery service;
creation of playgrounds.
