Why do people visit your website? It’s probably to learn more about your NGO or donate money to your cause. If your website isn’t easy to navigate, people are likely to leave.
Make sure all information is easy to find and that the “Donate” button is prominently displayed on the navigation bar and other parts of the site.
Speak the language of your target audience throughout your copy and make sure you are consistent in your wording and message.

Capture emails on your website
If your website isn't optimized to capture a visitor's email address , you're doing it wrong. Most of your website visitors will look around, maybe read something, and never come back. If the only way to get people to your email newsletter is to donate, you're only getting a fraction of your website visitors.
By having a clear call to action on your website to sign up for your newsletter, your email list grows much faster.
