a) /clothesformen_403v.gt

b) /clothing/men

It's option B, right? The first one looks messy (and like it's hosted on a shady website). Don't give Google that impression of your e-commerce site.

Best practices for URL structure on retail sites also depend on the page it's used on. This is because URLs should include your keyword and be organized in a way that makes it easy for both users and Google to navigate.

Category pages: URL.com/CATEGORY

For example, I could go with URL.com/company-retreats.

Product pages: URL.com/CATEGORY/PRODUCT

For example, I could choose URL.com/company-retreats/los-angeles.
