Facebook Live Audio Rooms

Post by Bappy11 »

Twitter offers several moderation options for Spaces. As an organizer, you have the option to mute a speaker, or even all speakers at once. You can also remove people from the Space. In addition, listeners can report and block people and report entire Spaces. Also useful to know: people you have blocked cannot enter Spaces you host. And you will receive a warning if you go to a Space where someone you have blocked is speaking.

Earn money
You can also set up paid Spaces, so-called ticketed Spaces . Participants in such a Space gain access by purchasing a ticket (price between 1 and 999 dollars). You can determine the number of participants in advance and Twitter gives you additional options to promote these Spaces. Ticketed spaces are currently only available to a small group of Twitterers, but will undoubtedly be rolled out further.

This is how you determine the ticket price in ticketed Spaces.

On June 21st, Facebook announced that they will be rolling out Live Audio Rooms (and podcasts) to the platform buy bulk sms service Not surprisingly, this feature also looks a lot like Clubhouse. Through the Facebook app on iOS and Android, you can discover Live Audio Rooms via the newsfeed and via notifications. Just like Twitter Spaces, a possible advantage over Clubhouse, where your reach is limited to the listeners within that one app.

Currently, the use of these rooms is still limited. Only public figures and a few groups in the US can create Live Audio Rooms. Hosting a Live Audio Room is only possible via iOS. In the coming months, Facebook will expand the availability and features. It remains to be seen how quickly it will come to the Netherlands and who can use it as a host.

How do Live Audio Rooms work?
Organizers can ask friends, followers, and listeners to become speakers in the room. The organizer can invite speakers in advance, or give them the option during the conversation. Listeners can also tap the option in the room themselves to participate as a speaker.

Also interesting is the option for Facebook groups. Admins of the group can determine who (an admin, moderator or group member) can create a Live Audio Room. In public groups everyone can listen in, but in private groups this is limited to group members.
