How to launch the voice assistant?
Preparing all devices
Use a device: it can be a smartphone, tablet, smart speaker, TV set-top box. Make sure that the device supports voice assistants and has a built-in microphone - especially if this device is not developed by Yandex.
Internet connection: Alice works via the Internet, so a stable network connection is required.
Yandex account: To use all Alice features, you will need a Yandex account. If you don’t have one, create one. The account synchronizes data and settings between different devices.
Setting up Alice on a smartphone via Yandex Browser
Download and install Yandex Browser. This application is the main interface for interacting with Alice.
Log in to the Browser using your Yandex account for synchronization.
Go to Settings - usually found in the menu or on the main screen of the app.
Turn on Alice: in the settings, find the option "Voice assistant" and activate it. This way you can use Alice to run commands and search for information.

Setting up Alice in Yandex Browser on PC
Open Yandex Browser. In the lower left corner there is a purple icon of the voice assistant Alice. Click on it, and a menu with commands for the virtual assistant will open.
To start communicating with Alice by voice, click the mouse on the icon next to the inscription "How can I help you?" and ask a question. If the microphone on the device is disabled or missing, then write a request in text in the search bar.
You can also enable the assistant's activation without using a mouse. To do this, go to the browser settings and make the "Enable voice assistant Alice" button active, but you need a microphone for this.
