Adobe’s 2021 Global Emoji Trends Report , which surveyed 7,000 people in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Japan, Australia, and South Korea, highlights some interesting findings about the relationship between emoji use and marketing:

The majority of global emoji users say they are more likely to open email or reminder notifications that contain emoji (60%) , especially if that emoji is their favorite (63%). Gen Z (70%) and millennials (63%) say they are likely to open an email or reminder notification if it contains an emoji in the subject line.
Nearly half of global emoji users are more likely to respond to a message if it contains an emoji (47%).
