Teads launches the first advertising video with chatbot

Teads , creator of outstream video formats, is the first company to integrate a chatbot into outstream video advertising formats . Tommy Hilfiger, an international fashion brand, is the first advertiser to use the technology in its chatbot TMY.GRL.

Teads ’ innovative technology enables brands like Tommy Hilfiger to integrate a chatbot into outstream video formats, increasing their reach beyond Facebook Messenger. Users can access the Tommy Hilfiger chatbot through a call to action that appears above the video creative, inviting users to interact with the bot. Thanks to the integration by Teads Studio, that call to action dynamically changes its message depending on the time. For example, the morning message would be: “Good morning – talk to us . ”

Tommy Hilfiger’s chatbot , developed in conjunction with msg.ai, allows consumers to find pieces from the new collection by asking questions that help profile the consumer’s taste and size. To purchase products suggested by the chatbot, users are redirected to tommy.com, where the items will already have been added to their shopping cart.

The first phase of the campaign has been launched in two different belgium phone number Teads formats , each adapted to the type of screen on which the campaign was broadcast; inRead Landscape (for computers) and inRead Vertical (for smartphones). The campaign can be viewed here.
