How to unprotect a Tweet
To unprotect a Tweet, follow the instructions above: If accessing X on the web, uncheck the box next to Protect my Tweets . For the X app for iOS and Android, next to Protect your Tweets , drag the slider or uncheck the box.
Before making your Tweets public, always check for pending follower requests. Any pending requests will not be automatically accepted. If a request is pending, the account that made the request will need to follow you again.
Please note that unprotecting a Tweet will cause all previously protected Tweets to become public.
