Top management, in turn, considers information security as an expense item, and not part of its business processes, which does not allow for the formation of feedback between business and security. This is where the misunderstanding of what and how to protect begins, which ultimately leads to budget overruns, the loss of specialists to other companies and much more. It is important to remember that information security and IT are like two hands of one person and they must be used in a coordinated manner, synchronously under the control of one head (top management).
