Specialists of JSC "Greenatom Simple Solutions" migrated 157 automated workplaces of employees of six executive bodies of state power of the Chelyabinsk region from OS Astra Linux 1.6 and 2.12 SE to OS Astra Linux 1.7. The work was carried out using the configuration management system "Atom.Port". The customer and coordinator of the migration to the new version of the operating system was the OGKU "Center for Information and Technical Services" of the Chelyabinsk region.

The installation of Astra Linux 1.7 distributions was performed remotely without user participation and the physical presence of a migration engineer from the contractor, which helped reduce labor costs and meet the short deadlines set by the state contract.

After migration and post-configuration, the employees of the OGKU "CITO" carried out acceptance of each workstation according to the methodology provided for in the Protocol for updating the automated workplace, which is part of the Methodology for import substitution of JSC "Greenatom Simple Solutions".

The new version implements virtualization functions and data management systems. The interface has also been modified for user convenience. Separately, I would like to note the update of information security tools in the Astra Linux 1.7 OS version. The new distribution is capable of providing security for all types of workstations, from standard automated workplaces to stations working with information containing state secrets and documents of any level of secrecy.

The project to migrate government bodies to the new version of the Astra Linux 1.7 OS was implemented with the help of specialists from Greenatom Simple Solutions JSC, who installed updates on workstations within the timeframes specified in the state contract.
